Facility Engineering

Our new CDFM program has been developed with the input of industry professionals, lodging facility management companies and ownership groups (R.E.I.T.s) to provide a curriculum specifically focusing on ‘lodging’ facilities for our nations growing senior’s population. The CDFM training program is developed specifically for directors of maintenance for residential-care-facilities and multi-family developments, i.e. assisted-living, senior citizen housing communities and nursing homes.

Description:

The Certified Director of Facility Maintenance (CDFM) program is a self-paced professional development program for residential-care  facility engineers and maintenance professionals. The CDFM study guide has been developed by the National Association of Hotel & Lodging Engineers in conjunction with vendors, standards writing organizations, the Center for Disease Control, and various industry experts contributing as authors. The National Association of Hotel and Lodging Engineers (NAHLE) initially partnered with the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI), Apple REIT, and Grainger to bring you our Chief Engineer training program.
