Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Work Force finds certificate programs the fastest growing postsecondary credential, and second only to Bachelor’s degrees in the number earned each year. 

Employees who work in an occupation that is closely related to one’s training is the key to leveraging a certificate into substantial earnings returns! 

CERTIFICATES: Gateway to Gainful Employment and College Degrees, Georgetown University provides a comprehensive analysis of the returns to certificates and who earns them.

1) Certificate holders in their field of employment earn approximately as much as men with Associates Degrees.

2) Men certificate holders in their field of employment typically earn between 10 and 20% more than certificate holders who do not work in their field of employment.
