Certified Chief Engineer (CCE) Program Overview
The CCE program is developed with input from several hotel management companies and industry professionals to serve hotel engineers and maintenance professionals of Select or Limited-Service Hotel Properties and low-rise lodging facilities such as assisted-living and senior housing. All program candidates receive a complimentary membership to NAHLE and continuing access to the study guide and curriculum.
Newly Added Appendices Include:
• CDC / ASHRAE Webinar: “Reducing Risks of Legionella”
• Legionellosis Risk Management Guide
• Orkin Webinar: “Taking AIM at Bed Bugs”
The CCE program uniquely covers PTAC units with an in-depth look at moisture infiltration and through-wall penetrations—topics not covered in the CDOE program. Both programs include a wide range of topics relevant to hotel engineering such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, landscaping, swimming pools, and vertical transport.

Once all exams are passed, the Certificate of Completion may be downloaded as a PDF under the “Achievements” tab on Litmos. Certificates print on standard 8.5×11” paper using most color printers.
