World Travel Market (WTM), part of RX Global, has appointed Chris Carter-Chapman as its new event director of WTM London. Carter-Chapman said he is ‘delighted’ to be appointed to the new role.
WTM London will stage its 45th annual outing at Excel London from 4-6 November 2025.
Carter-Chapman has 15 years experience in media and events. Previous roles include head of content at Centaur Media and Ovum; and commercial director at Intelligence Squared.
The appointment replaces Juliette Losardo, previous WTM London event director, who has transitioned to RX Arabia. Carter-Chapman stressed the responsibility of running an event of WTM London’s calibre: “I am acutely aware of the immense responsibility that comes with leading an event of WTM’s stature and the significant potential it holds for continued growth.”
He added: “WTM London is an opportunity to celebrate global travel as a force for good and to exchange ideas on the next steps in our collective journey towards sustainable, experience-led tourism – a journey that is more important than ever in today’s complex and evolving international landscape. I am deeply privileged to be able to play a role in making this vision a reality.”
