Sticky Wicket smashes records with best year ever

Sticky Wicket, the annual charity cricket event that brings together the events industry for a day of sport and fundraising, has celebrated its most successful year to date.

This year organisers have confirmed that the event raised over £56,500 for the Lord’s Taverners, the children’s charity, which supports disadvantaged and disabled young people through sport.

The organisers said: “This is an amazing feat, and we can’t thank everyone enough for helping us to achieve it. Every penny of this will help the Lord’s Taverners continue their fantastic work.”

Teams at this years event included Easyfairs, Olympia, Nineteen as well as Exhibition News.

Looking ahead, plans are already in motion for Sticky Wicket 2026, and the team is calling on supporters to register their interest early – whether as players, teams, or sponsors.
