ExpoPlatform launches speed networking tool after “terrific success” with UFI

Event technology provider ExpoPlatform has launched NetWorks, an AI-powered speed networking tool.

The standalone tool uses algorithms to match buyers with exhibitors and sponsors with delegates. This creates personalised schedules for “rapid-fire” meetings.

Organisers can choose between walk-in and pre-matched options to suit their requirements. The system also allows organisers to specify timeframes for short meetings within designated sessions.

“NetWorks empowers organisers to deliver real value through fast, AI-focused networking experiences that scale with ease – whether at a small conference or a global trade show,” said Tanya Pinchuk, chief executive of ExpoPlatform.

The launch follows a successful partnership with UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, which saw speed networking sessions deployed at three events. The Americas and European conferences achieved an average meeting rating of 4.6 out of 5. 89% of participants rated the matchmaking as highly effective.

“A terrific success”

Nick Dugdale-Moore, UFI regional director Europe, described the results as “a terrific success” and called ExpoPlatform the “exact partner you want”.

ExpoPlatform works globally with exhibition organisers including Informa, Dubai World Trade Centre, IMEX and Hyve. The company offers AI-driven matchmaking, smart event apps and digital engagement tools alongside the new product.

As a standalone solution, NetWorks can be introduced without requiring other features.
