Farnborough International joins forces with EN Launch Club

With the latest edition of the EN Launch Club: Consumer Shows taking place on 27 June 2025, Exhibition News catches up with Farnborough International, the venue sponsor for this instalment and the upcoming EN Launch Club: Conferences and EN Launch Club: Tradeshows events.

Designed to connect event organisers with the suppliers and partners essential to launching a successful consumer show, conference, or tradeshow, the EN Launch Club series offers a rare opportunity to meet the right people all in one room.

We spoke to Matt Burton, head of venue marketing, and Samantha King, head of venue sales, to learn more about their decision to sponsor the series and the value they see in being part of the EN Launch Club.

Why is this event and the following version of it so important for the industry? – Samantha King, head of Venue Sales

“The EN Launch Club provides an essential platform for emerging event organisers and entrepreneurs to access practical insights, real-world advice, and strategic direction from a range of experienced event experts who have already successfully launched events. Through this exclusive forum of shared knowledge and experiences, event organisers can take away proven and actionable ideas, plans and steps to support them bring their latest event visions to life.

Why support another EN/ Mash event, what is special about these events? – Samantha King, head of Venue Sales

“Collaboration and partnership sit at the heart of how we work at Farnborough International and events such as these bring together all the right people from the events community in a purposeful, valuable and meaningful way. The event aligns with our commitment to providing our existing partners and new early-stage organisers with tailored, strategic advice and support, as well as hands-on operational and commercial expertise to help launch, support and grow their events.”

What do you expect attendees and delegates to gain from the event? Expectations – Samantha King, head of Venue Sales

“This innovative event series aims to equip attendees with everything they need to launch and deliver long-term success for their new event ideas. Delegates can expect to gain meaningful connections, actionable insights and clear next steps for their launch events, leaving them with an increased confidence and renewed sense of inspiration and direction to take back to their business and drive forward with.”

Do you think there is a gap for these type of educational events for event professionals in the industry? – Matt Burton, head of Venue Marketing

“Whilst there is a plethora of educational events for events industry professionals, this event series fills the gap for a knowledge-sharing and networking event specifically dedicated to support new event organisers and new event launches grow from the ground up. Whilst established organisers have access to a wide range of resources, those at the start of their journey often lack the structured, targeted support to confidently and successful get their ideas off the ground.”
