Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition will expand to the SEC Glasgow, opening its doors on 24 July 2025. This follows existing exhibitions in Madrid, Hamburg, Cairo, Sao Paulo, Barcelona, Malmo, Vienna and London.
The immersive exhibition allows visitors to explore and learn about ancient Egypt and Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The experience is created in collaboration with historians and Egyptologists and includes immersive video mapping rooms with projections.
The experience will take approximately 90 minutes altogether at the SEC. It includes stories, artefacts and natural landscapes (through the video mapping).
Across multiple cities, Tutankhamun: The Immersive Experience has proven popular with 1.9m visitors worldwide.
The SEC marks its latest move with tickets expected to sell out fast following the success of London’s sell-out 14-week run.
