Handmade Chelsea returns to Chelsea Old Town Hall

Handmade Chelsea, one of the UK’s longest-running craft and design fairs, will return for its 18th edition from 6–8 November 2025 at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Organised by Handmade in Britain, the event will host over 120 makers from across the UK and beyond, representing a wide range of craft disciplines, including jewellery, furniture, textiles, ceramics, glass, fine art, print, and fashion.

The three-day event marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season, offering visitors the opportunity to purchase directly from makers.

“As one of the UK’s longest-running craft fairs, Handmade Chelsea continues to champion excellence in contemporary craft,” said Piyush Suri, founder of Handmade in Britain. “At a time when independent makers need our support more than ever, the fair offers a vital platform to connect with the artists, discover their work, and invest in meaningful, handmade pieces that stand the test of time.”

This year’s exhibitors include names such as Jade Meridian, whose work incorporates traditional artisanal techniques; Julie Gurr, who uses willow she grows herself in contemporary basketry; and award-winning jeweller Emma Calvert, who creates jewellery from textiles.

In addition to highlighting established talent, the event also features emerging makers. Among them are Christine Feltham of Tucana Ceramics, winner of the Handmade Oxford 2025 Society of Designer Craftsmen Award for Outstanding Innovation in Craft and Design, and Mimi of Mill & Mooch, who creates wooden homewares using woodturning techniques.

Dan Goode, consultant director of Handmade in Britain, said:  “In 2025, Handmade Chelsea will continue its near two decade-long quest to underpin the very best in UK designer-making talent and to foster the making talent of the future.”
