B2B global event organiser Hyve has welcomed (30 July) GSV Summit LLC to its portfolio.
GSV Summit comprises two flagship events: the ASU+GSV Summit and the AI Show.
The deal marks the fifth brand to join Hyve’s portfolio in the last 12 months, following BHT, HLTH, POSSIBLE and Manifest, and the organiser says it is part of its GO27 strategy “to accelerate purposeful growth and reinforce Hyve’s position as the number one home for the world’s most exciting, high-impact events”.
Hyve has been championing education for over 40 years through Bett, the world’s largest series of EdTech exhibitions, connecting educators with solution providers across the UK, Brazil and Asia. GSV Summit, by contrast, is a high-level convening of senior leaders, investors and influencers shaping the future of education policy, innovation and technology adoption.
Bett and GSV Summit are highly complementary, together creating a powerful global platform that spans the full education ecosystem, from classroom to boardroom, on both sides of the Atlantic.
Mark Shashoua, CEO of Hyve, comments: “Together, GSV Summit and Bett form a powerful new alliance across the global learning landscape. Our Bett customers tell us all the time they want to make more connections in the US – now with GSV Summit having Hyve as its home, we can make that happen.
“Founders Deborah and Michael have built an incredible brand, they are unwavering in their dedication to advancing the education sector and we’re delighted they, along with their fantastic team, will remain a driving force behind this prestigious event.”
Deborah Quazzo, co-founder, GSV Summit, adds: “Joining forces with Hyve and Bett, we will immediately convene over 100,000 ‘PreK to Gray’ education entrepreneurs, leaders, and practitioners across events in the US, UK, Brazil, and SEA – creating the largest global community focused on transformational change in learning and skills. For GSV, the combination allows us to remain relentlessly focused on ALL people having equal access to the future while leveraging the power of a world-class global event team.”
Michael Moe, Co-founder, GSV Summit, says: “For 16 years, it’s been our deepest honour and privilege to partner with Arizona State University, which has ranked number one in innovation in the United States for the last ten years by US News & World Report and has been a global model of excellence at scale. GSV stands for Global Silicon Valley – stretching from Boston to Austin, from Chicago to São Paulo, from Mumbai to Shanghai and Dubai.”
The ASU+GSV Summit will next take place in San Diego in April 2026 and The AI Show will next take place in San Diego in April 2026.
