The largest annual global gathering of the exhibition industry returns to the Americas in 2027, when Guadalajara, Mexico, hosts the 94th edition of the UFI Global Congress at Expo Guadalajara, 3-6 November.
The global association of the exhibition industry (UFI) announced the news, 8 July, that the Guadalajara Convention and Visitors Bureau would be hosting the 2027 event.
The UFI Board of Directors had unanimously approved the selection during the UFI European Events Week 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Guadalajara’s energy, international reach, and dedication to the global exhibitions industry made it a compelling choice for this essential industry event, the UFI release noted.
The UFI Global Congress is held in a different region each year, reflecting UFI’s global footprint. Following the 2024 edition in Cologne, the event will travel to Hong Kong in 2025 and Bahrain in 2026, before arriving in Guadalajara in 2027.
The 2027 Congress in Guadalajara will mark a return to the Americas, following previous editions in Las Vegas, USA (2023) and Bogotá, Colombia (2014).
