French events giant Comexposium has appointed Pablo Nakhlé Cerruti as CEO, effective 25 August 2025.
Nakhlé Cerruti, 42, will succeed Renaud Hamaide, who has led the company since 2010. The appointment comes as Comexposium continues to expand its global footprint across more than 150 events in 20 countries.
Cerruti’s industry experience
Nakhlé Cerruti brings extensive experience in the events and real estate sectors. He served as chief executive of Viparis – events and venue management subsidiary of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, operating Paris venues Porte de Versailles and Le Bourget – from 2018 to 2023. Previously, he held deputy roles at the company from 2014.
Earlier in his career, Nakhlé Cerruti worked in Christine Lagarde’s private office as speechwriter when she served as minister of economy, finance and industry from 2009 to 2011.
Since 2023, he has been president of Copheam, supporting investors and companies in real estate, hospitality and transformation projects. In 2024, he joined Mediawan as MD in charge of diversification and member of the executive committee.
Educational background
Nakhlé Cerruti graduated from Sciences Po Strasbourg in 2004 and the School of Economic Warfare in 2005. He began his career in 2007 as MD of the Prometheus corporate foundation.
The board of directors expressed their confidence in the appointment: “We welcome Pablo Nakhlé Cerruti and express our full confidence in his ability to continue the growth trajectory of the Comexposium group.”
What is Comexposium’s event profile?
Comexposium organises events across 12 sectors including food, fashion, retail, security, health, education and construction. Its portfolio includes SIAL, the world’s leading food industry event network, Wine Paris and Vinexpo for wines and spirits. Comexposium also runs major consumer shows such as Foire de Paris and Rétromobile.
The group employs 1,200 staff across its subsidiaries and is equally owned by SIPAC, a subsidiary of the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Crédit Agricole Assurances.
