NeuroKind launches in Manchester

NeuroKind’s founder, Jamie Wallis has announced a partnership with Manchester Central that will see the venue host the show’s launch event.

Set to take place on 24 November 2026, under the wrought-iron arched roof of the venue’s iconic central hall, NeuroKind will be a creatively led B2B event that will enable business professionals to learn how to develop workplace best practices and communication strategies that empower neuro-diverse employees to thrive.

Developed as a first of its kind neuro-diversity workplace charter and neuro-diversity empowerment event solely for businesses, Wallis, the former event content lead for IFA Berlin, Brand Events and the Telegraph, spoke of the immense impact neuro-diverse individuals can have on companies and how impressed he has been by the backing NeuroKind has received from the City of Manchester.

“Life at work for a neuro-diverse person can feel like driving with the brakes on,” said Wallis.

“We know that neuro-diversity in the workplace is an untapped superpower, where empowered neuro-diverse individuals can thrive while enabling companies to reach new heights in innovation, growth and profitability.”

“From the great people of Marketing Manchester through to pro-manchester and of course our venue partner, Manchester Central, I truly believe NeuroKind could not find a better city to launch a neurodiversity workplace charter and event that is based on empowering great minds that think differently.”

Lori Hoinkes, CEO of Manchester Central, believes NeuroKind sits perfectly within the city’s natural drive to innovate.

“As the world’s first industrialised city, innovation is woven into the fabric of Manchester – making it the perfect setting for an event like NeuroKind that wants to create positive change in the workplace,” said Hoinkes.

She added: “We believe that this is a truly unique concept that has real potential to not only become a stand-out event in the B2B space, but to deliver meaningful social impact; something we’re incredibly passionate about at Manchester Central.”

Earlier this year, in a bid to drive innovation in the exhibitions and event industry, NeuroKind was awarded over £60,000 in support by Ex-Celerate, a collective of leading event industry suppliers including LiveBuzz, Ways & Means Events, the AEO, Porth Media, KRM Safety Management, Creative Hire, and Whitespace XPO.
