CHEMUK has continued to grow after posting its highest attendance to date for its 2025 edition. Overall, CHEMUK 2025 welcomed 5,000 visitors, a 12% growth from last year.
The high attendance means CHEMUK is Britain’s largest trade show for the chemical, process engineering and formulated products sector.
CHEMUK’s growth is reflected in the space that it occupied this year. Taking place on 21-22 May 2025, the show filled out hall five of the NEC, Birmingham – the venue’s biggest hall. CHEMUK founder and CEO Ian Stone said ‘the show was absolutely buzzing with engagement and busy aisles in every corner of the giant hall five’.
So why and how has this growth been achieved? Firstly, a packed and well researched content programme. The show featured five show zones for the different sub-sectors of the industry which were ‘free to attend’. This was described as a ‘massive draw for attendees’.
Ian Stone spoke more about the conference programme’s importance: “A unique annual offering of knowledge sharing, addressing the biggest ‘challenges’ and ‘opportunities’ affecting and influencing the sector, providing vital intelligence on where the sector is heading plus empowering and informing crucial next steps… It’s where experts from all points step out of their ‘more specialised silos’ and share knowledge, ideas, foster collaboration, understanding, joined-up solutions and consensus on an ‘industry’ scale…”
The show also had a strong and varied exhibitor list. For CHEMUK 2025 there were over 200 new exhibitors representing anything from chemical to industrial processing. The wide range of exhibitors meant more people, including suppliers and tech providers, came to the show to network, make deals and learn.
According to the organiser, CHEMUK 2026 rebooking is already at its fastest its ever been with next year’s show promised to be, once again, ‘the two biggest days of the year’.
