PPDS has announced its digital signage solutions have been selected to improve communication and collaboration at The Putnam County School System in Cookeville, Tennessee.
PCSS, one of Tennessee’s largest public school districts, serves over 12,000 students across 22 schools and employs more than 1,700 staff.
Display technology supports communication and collaboration across all PCSS campuses, including its central offices, which host daily meetings, events, and virtual collaborations with other districts and educational offices.
PCSS sought to replace its outdated digital signage system with one that could manage content across reception areas, conference rooms, and the boardroom, supporting the display of schedules, agendas, presentations, and live feeds.
Patrick VanTreese, director of business development at PPDS, commented: “The flexibility of the PhilipsWave platform ensures that the district can continuously evolve and adapt its content to meet the needs of various events.
“With the implementation of Philips digital signage, the Putnam County School System has not only improved communication within its district, it has also set a new standard for how educational offices can leverage technology to engage staff, students, and external partners more effectively. This transformation showcases how the right tools can dramatically enhance an organisation’s ability to communicate, collaborate, and innovate.”
